Oman Mobile Communications Company (Oman Mobile), known as the best trademark in the Sultanate, has recently held a press conference where it unveiled details of its participation in the Communications and Information Technology Conference "Comex 2008" held at Oman International Exhibitions Center.

Oman Mobile would introduce the most up-to-date technologies in the area of telecommunications as well as the best offers to individuals, businesses and all parties interested in ICT sector. It will make interesting and scintillating offers to Mada and Hayyak subscribers. It will also provide new corporate solutions to Nama and CPN subscribers.

Oman Mobile pavilion would include a special section for businesses where it would present business solutions such as Black Berry and the 3.5 Third Generation mobile service. Visitors of Oman Mobile pavilion would be able to experience the service and know its advantages and benefits by themselves.

Big discounts on Black Berry

 On the occasion of Comex 2008, Oman Mobile pavilion would grant its visitors a special offer on Black Berry service with triple benefits. The promotional offer includes discounts on the prices of Black Berry phones upto RO 21 as well as free connection (which was RO 10) and free first month subscription fee of (which is RO 19.5). The offer also includs 10 Mbits of free traffic.

Rate of International call from 49.5 Bz/30 seconds  

As part of an industry initiative, all international calls to India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and the Philippines now from 49.5 Baisa per 30 seconds. This would enable Oman Mobile subscribers to call their relatives and friends abroad at unprecedented low prices.

 Oman Mobile subscribers can now make international calls to India at 82.5 during non-peak hours and 95 Baisa during peak hours. Meanwhile, international calls to Pakistan , Bangladesh and Sri Lanka came down to 90 Baisa at non-peak hours, and 110 Baisa during peak hours. International calls to the Philippines fell to 97.5 Baisa during non-peak hours and 120 Baisa during peak hours.

Hayyak top-up cards with 3-digit password

 Oman Mobile will make a new offer for Hayyak top-up cards. Subscribers would get one top-up three-RO card with several new advantages. A subscriber can use the same card to recharge his mobile phone for a maximum of three times. The card contains three different passwords i.e. one password for each Omani Rial. This feature enables two persons to recharge their mobile phones from one card. 

Talk longer with lower rates offer

 Recently, Oman Mobile presented to its value customers the best calling rates to enable them make the affable calls. The off-peak rate was reduced from bz.45 to 39 and the calculation is for each 30 seconds following the first minute i.e. bz. 19.5/30 seconds and the peak rate was bz. 27.5.

 Hayyak starter kit for RO 3 with RO1 talktime

.Hayyak starter kit includes a SIM card with RO1 free airtime giving access to over 44 value added services and roaming facility through 332 service operators in 146 countries.

Mobile Internet modem

 The new Internet modem has several advantages that distinguish it from other modems in the Sultanate. It can be used for the second mobile communications generation networks that is currently used 2G as well as the 3.5G networks, which Oman Mobile plans to launch in the near future. The new modem can interact with high speeds up to 7.2 Mbit. It is also small in size and lightweight- only 37 grams. The new modem is known for automatic registration. In case it used on more than one computer, the user need not download any programmes or any other measures. He/ she should only plug in the modem and surf the Internet. This modem is the best in the Sultanate besides the price of the service, which is only 29 Rials Omani per month. Within this modem a subscriber will get comprehensive network coverage that reaches more than 95% of the populated areas of the Sultanate of Oman.

The 3G & 3.5G - Live experience

 Oman Mobile shall arrange a live presentation and experience on the use of its pavilion. The service enables subscribers to use hi-speed Internet in their mobile phones and video calls or using the same in monitoring cameras. The company will survey the opinions of service users in order to know their requirements.

 The company would also unveil fresh offers in the area of telecommunications as it seeks to provide more products and value added services to keep pace with the developments taking place in telecommunications world.

 This is a recognition by the company of the right of its subscribers to obtain these services and enjoy their advantages. It is also a well-deserved reward for the allegiance of subscribers and their contribution to the development of the company.

تخفيض تسعيرة المكالمات الدولية لبعض الدول الآسيوية

أصبحت جميع المكالمات الصادرة إلى الهند ،باكستان، بنجلاديش، سريلانكا والفلبين الآن 49.5 بيسة لكل 30 ثانية في غير أوقات الذروة، مما يمنح مشتركي عمان موبايل الفرصة للاتصال بأقاربهم وأصدقائهم  في الخارج بأسعار اقل من قبل وأصبح التسعيرة الجديدة لتلك الدول: الهند 82.5 بيسة (غير أوقات الذروة) و 95 بيسة (في أوقات الذروة)، ولباكستان، وبنجلاديش وسريلانكا 90 بيسة (غير الذروة) و 110 بيسة (الذروة). وللفلبين 97.5 بيسة (غير الذروة) و120 بيسة (الذروة.( الجديد في هذا العرض المميز أن عمان موبايل أوجدت أوقات غير الذروة المخفضة لكل البلدان المذكورة أعلاه بقيمة 49.5 بيسة لكل ثلاثين ثانية بدءا من العاشرة مساء للفيليبين ومن منتصف الليل لباقي الدول. يسري هذا العرض حتى تاريخ 17 يوليو.

ادفع أقل وتكلم أكثر فقط من عمان موبايل

كان ذلك العرض الذي قدمته شركة عمان موبايل لمشتركيها في خدمة باقة حياك وهو تخفيض تعرفة ساعات غير الذروة إلى 39 بيسة للدقيقة الأولى بدلاً من 45 بيسة و مع الميزة الموجودة  حاليا ُلباقة حياك باحتساب التعرفة كل 30 ثانية بعد الدقيقة الأولى بدلاً من دقيقة كاملة فأصبحت التعرفة بعد الدقيقة الأولى هي 19.5 بيسة لكل 30 ثانية لساعات غير الذروة و 27.5 بيسة لساعات الذروة.

بطاقة تعبئة حياك بثلاثة أرقام سرية

سيتم طرح عرض جديد لبطاقات تعبئة "حياك" بقيمة 3 ريالات بها مزايا متعددة تسمح للمشترك استخدام البطاقة أكثر من مرة حتى ثلاث مرات. تحتوي البطاقة على ثلاثة أرقام سرية مختلفة، كل رقم سري لتعبئة ريال واحد. وهذه ميزة تتيح لأكثر من شخص إعادة التعبئة من بطاقة واحدة.

باقة حياك بـ 3 ريالات فقط

عند الاشتراك في خدمة يتسلم المشترك بطاقة التعريف الشخصي إضافة لبطاقة إعادة تعبئة مجانية بقيمة ريال واحد، حيث يستمتع المشترك بخدمات القيمة المضافة التي تصل إلى أكثر من 44 خدمة إلى جانب خدمة التجوال في 146 دولة عبر 332 مشغل للخدمة في تلك الدول.

مودم الانترنت المتنقل

يتميز المودم الجديد عن باقي أجهزة المودم الموجودة في السلطنة بقابلية الاستعمال لأجهزة الاتصالات المتنقلة المستخدم حاليا لجيل الاتصالات الثاني وأيضا لجيل الاتصالات 3.5 والتي تعمل عمان موبايل على تدشينه في المستقبل القريب، ويتميز المودم الجديد أيضا بتفاعله مع سرعات عالية تصل حتى 7.2 Mbit، وصغر الحجم والوزن الذي يصل إلي 37 جرام فقط. ويتميز جهاز المودم الجديد أيضاً بتلقائية التسجيل حيث أنه في حالة استخدامه على أكثر من جهاز كمبيوتر لا يحتاج المستخدم إلى تنزيل برنامج أو إجراءات أخرى، فما عليه إلا إدخاله في الجهاز فيقوم وبشكل تلقائي باستخدام الانترنت. ويعتبر جهاز المودم هو الأفضل في السلطنة بجانب تسعيرة الخدمة التي لا تتجاوز قيمتها 29 ريال في الشهر وتغطية شاملة تصل إلى 95% من المناطق المأهولة بالسكان.

الجيل الثالث بتجربة حية

سيكون هناك عرض وتجربة حية في جناح"عمان موبايل" عن كيفية استخدام خدمة الجيل الثالث حيث  تتيح هذه الخدمة توفيرالإنترنت السريع في الهواتف النقالة واستخدام المكالمات المرئية أو توظيفها في مجال كاميرات المراقبة وسيتم  استطلاع  آراء مستخدمي الخدمة في الجناح للتعرف على احتياجاتهم.
