Spectrami to Train its Channel Partners on Enterprise Vulnerability Management

Spectrami, a leading value added distributor, today announced that in association with Tenable Networks Security will offer a technical workshop on Enterprise Vulnerability Management to its channel partners spread across the Middle East region on Wednesday, 11th July 2012 in Dubai, UAE.

Tenable, the leaders in Unified Security Monitoring technology, that provides continuous assessment and monitoring of vulnerability, patch configuration, log, event, network and threat intelligence across virtual, cloud and mobile assets.

Anand Choudha, Managing Director, Spectrami said, “Enterprises in the region are facing real challenge from the ever growing number of threats and risks. We believe that the award-winning security solutions from Tenable and enhancement of complimentary skill sets of partners via such technical workshops will offer a high level of protection to the enterprises in the region as well as providing partners with several new avenues to grow their businesses.”

As part of Spectrami’s value add program, this technical workshop is designed to enrich the skill sets of channel partners.  Experts from Tenable will give an overview and technical training on best of the breed suite of security solutions from Tenable including the latest developments and offerings, especially which are specifically tailored for partners in the Middle East region.

The technical workshop will impart requisite knowledge skills on sizing, configuring as well as giving a demo on Tenable Security solutions. Spectrami expects several partners from all across the Middle East region including Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman among others to attend this technical workshop.

    AlcaLu names former Vodafone exec as new CEO

    Troubled network vendor Alcatel-Lucent has announced that former Vodafone exec Michel Combes will become its new CEO from April 1. Combes will replace Ben Verwaayen, who announced his resignation earlier this month after failing to deliver a turnaround at the company.
    Combes, 51, recently spent four years (2008-2012) as CEO of Vodafone Europe. He had been named to take over as chief executive of Vivendi’s SFR last year, France’s second-biggest mobile operator, but the appointment was aborted after a management shake-up at the parent company.
